Board of Directors

Rene LeBlanc is the Founder and Director of Crossroads Community. A Louisiana native, he completed a substance abuse counselor training program through the Louisiana Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority. Rene personally understands the challenges people in recovery face, and is a living example that people can overcome the past and live successful, productive lives. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Rene and his wife Rena live in rural Berne and have three adult children.

Eric Lehman is Pastor of The Bridge Community Church in Berne. He is passionate about serving Jesus wholeheartedly and helping this generation become totally devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Eric takes great pride in and desires the best for the Adams County community. He and his wife Jodi are life-long Adams County residents and have three adult children.

Hailey Beer is a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones in Decatur. She is passionate about growing the cities in which she serves in a deeper and more meaningful way. She and her husband David welcomed their first child in June 2022.

Kevan Biggs is the President and CEO of Ideal Suburban Homes in Decatur. He has been with the company since 1996 and took over full management in 2004, continuing to operate on the foundation of strong values and good moral judgment. Kevan brings strong leadership and experience in project management to the Crossroads Community board of directors and shares the mission, vision, and purpose of the organization.

Cady Wilson is an attorney for Sprunger & Sprunger Attorneys at Law in Berne. She is an Adams County native and a 2015 graduate of South Adams High School. Cady attended the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, where she graduated with her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2022.

Deana Friedt is Director of Project Management Office at Ambassador Enterprises. At AE, she assesses and implements best practice projects and discerns best strategies for successful execution across the organization. Deana holds a B.S. Business degree in Accounting from Indiana University Fort Wayne, Management Certification from Boston University, and Dale Carnegie Effective Speaking certification. She has experience in governing system conversion projects and integrations, relationship management, coaching, and process improvements. She and her husband, Mick, have been married 32 years and have two grown sons, Carter and Caden.
